The William Morris Woodpecker Tapestry Table Runner is inspired by a design by the great pioneer of the British Arts and Crafts Movement, William Morris. The design depicting a woodpecker sitting in a tree garlanded by flowers and swirling leaves, draws inspiration from the Latin poet Ovid’s Metamorphoses. With extraordinary weaving and depth of color, this runner is woven on jacquard looms.
