Description

This is a pair of Tugendhat Armless Lounge Chairs, originally designed by Mies van der Rohe in 1929. These particular examples were produced by Knoll International in the 1970s, and the listed price includes the pair.

The leather upholstery is Camel color, having a nicely developed patina. The cantilever frames are polished stainless steel. There is a partial label attached under one of the chairs.

Each chair measures 27.8 inches deep, 27.5 inches wide, and 32 inches high, with a seat height of 15.7 inches. These chairs are all original, and they show some wear. The cushions are hard and crunchy, and there are several straps torn on each frame. Overall, this rare pair of chairs is in good original condition. Please see photos.
