Description
Deviating from the typical bug-like designs of Serge Mouille, this lighted column brings new dimension to the designer’s family of products. As Mouille explored columns in his Post Black Shapes period, he stacked cylindrical shades interspersed around a central lighting element. The light’s intensity was made random and unique by alternating the shades up or down.
True to Serge Mouille’s original production philosophy, each piece is made entirely by hand in France using the original forms, molds and techniques created by Mouille nearly 70 years ago. Each piece is stamped and numbered. Only 600 pieces are produced each year at the Mouille factory and distributed around the world.
