Description
This is a sophisticated Granite and Stainless Steel Side Table, designed by Davis Allen and Gordon Bunshaft as part of SOM Design. Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP. was and still is an important architectural firm globally. SOM produced thousands of their own furniture designs from the 1950s-1980s, and this is a classic example. The piece features a highly polished stainless-steel base, and has a round, high-quality granite top. The granite has a pinky blush hue, commingled with shades of gray and black.
The table measures 20 inches in diameter and is 22 inches high. The polished stainless-steel base is in good condition with little wear apparent, perhaps a few light scuffs and scratches. The granite top is in great shape. Overall, this table is in very good condition with light wear. Please see photos
