Description
This is a large dining or conference table, designed by George Nelson for Herman Miller in the 1950s. This model was custom-made to include space for a planter in the middle of the piece. The body of the table is wood, and it appears to be covered entirely in laminate (not real wood). The top appears to be faux burl, whereas the edges and the legs appear to be faux oak or ash laminate.
This table measures 35.5 inches deep, 54 inches wide, and 29 inches high. When fully extended, the piece measures 82 inches wide. There is some wear apparent around the corners. Overall, this table is in good condition. Please see photos.
