Description
This is a pair of DSX side chairs, originally designed by Ray and Charles Eames in the 1950s. These particular examples were produced by Herman Miller in the USA C. 2019. The chairs are comprised of a black plastic shell with a fabric seat atop a steel H-base. DSX is an acronym for Dining Height Side Chair on X-Base. The acronym stayed the same after they switched production to H-bases from X-bases.
The listed price includes two chairs to be sold together as a pair.
Each chair measures 22 inches deep, 18.5 inches wide, and 31.25 inches high with a seat height of 18 inches. The black shell has some minor wear and visible scratches on it, but overall the chairs are in good to very good condition. Please see photos.
