This is a pair of Eames DCMU Chairs, designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller in 1970. These particular examples were produced in the United States and date back to the 1970s. The chairs are constructed of fiberglass & plastic, and they feature a tubular steel base. The upholstery is done in a blue fabric. The acronym DCMU stands for Dining Height (D) Chair (C) on Metal (M) Rod Base Upholstered (U).
The listed price includes both chairs to be sold together as a pair.
Each chair measures 21.5 inches deep, 19.5 inches wide, and 29.5 inches high, with a seat height of 19 inches. These pieces show light wear apparent from previous use, including minor scuffs and surface blemishes. Overall, the chairs are in good condition. Please see photos.
