The D21 Cantilever Chair is a great representation of the tension between warm wickerwork and cool steel, between aesthetics and technology – this is what characterizes the Tecta woven collections. The new Oeko-Tex materials from TECTA are durable, skin-friendly and resistant. Braided materials that combine look and feel and represent Gropius’ desire to see “art and technology” as a new unity.

40 years ago, Tecta began the collaboration with Mart Stam, Marcel Breuer and Jean Prouvé. Today the Tecta cantilever chairs are classic, icons and trademarks at the same time.
