Cobra Table Lamp

Description

This lamp is held into a sphere, two horizontal tops separate the reflector from the base. The reflector’s rotatory movement around the central articulation constantly describes new spheres. A sinuous, dynamic and agile shape, like a cobra that swings hypnotized by the music but ready to spring. The lamp has been designed and produced in 1968, molded with a single material,
a thermosetting resin, and available
in bright colors, white or black.
For the 50th anniversary of its production, it is proposed with the designer’s signature in a new red color.

Designed by Elio Martinelli in 1968 the Cobra table lamp is considered to be a masterpiece of mid-century modern Italian design.
This classic table lamp is simple yet functional with a swivel upper arm which allows for a 360 degrees rotation by means of a central joint. The interior reflector is made with white painted aluminum. Diameter 40cm.
Made from molded resin the Cobra is offered in the following standard colors: white, black or red.
