Description
This is a Cesca armchair, model 50A, originally designed by Marcel Breuer in 1928. The listed price includes one 50A chair, and we have several available for individual purchase. These examples were manufactured by Knoll in 2018. The design features a tubular chromed-steel cantilever base, and has a molded plywood seat and back. Their upholstery is currently done in a contrasting blue and black combination. The arms are padded and upholstered as well.
Each chair measures 23.5 inches long, 23.5 inches wide, and 31.5 inches high. They have a seat height of 17.75 inches, and an arm height of 27 inches. The chromed-steel cantilever bases are in very good condition with no pitting. The upholstery is also in good condition, showing some very slight wear. Overall, these chairs are in very good condition. Please see photos.
