Pablo Pardo and his studio are known for their high-quality, minimalist lighting with designs rising to particular recognition during the 1990s. Today, the Bola lantern lives up to the studio’s legacy with long-lasting and patina-friendly materials.
The Bola Lantern includes a natural leather handle and a rechargeable battery—making it fully portable. Its size, stature and solid construction give a sense of presence that’s rarely found in portable lamps. Its subtle detailing helps to maintain the lightness intended by Pardo.
The leather handles are available in a high-quality natural vegetable tanned or black leather. To help develop a beautiful, worn-in patina, we recommend cleaning and conditioning the leather handle 2 times per year, or as often as needed to keep the leather feeling supple.
Battery life ranges from 10-400 hours depending on light intensity. Bola Lantern produces 280 Lumens of warm ambient light using LEDs.
