The 53 sofa has always been one of Finn Juhl’s most popular and sought-after pieces of furniture. The sofa is characterised by an elegant and sculptural expression that integrates the lightness and elegance of wooden furniture into an upholstered body. The sofa embraces the seated person and adds genuine comfort. The armrest moves elegantly over the upholstery and creates the illusion of floating freely. The 53 sofa is hand-sewn in Denmark in either textile or leather and is available with a frame in oak or walnut. A loose cushion can also be ordered for the sofa. An armchair is also available in the same series.

Fabric consumption is 2.30m for the frame and 1.30m for the seat.
