Description
This is a Pedestal Tulip Dining Table, Model 173F, initially designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll in 1956. This particular table was produced in the 1960s in the USA. The base is formed of molded cast iron which is coated in a white satin finish. The top has a white laminate top. It is finished with a beveled edge, giving the piece its iconic side profile.
The table measures 42 inches in diameter and is 28.25 inches tall. We have intentionally left this piece in its original condition to preserve its history. The coating on the base has slightly yellowed to a creamy color, and the edges and surface of the tabletop show some scuffs and scratches. Overall, this table is in very good condition.
