Description
This is a Danish Lectern or High Writing Desk, designed by Arne Wahl Iversen and Reno Wahl Iversen for Vinde Mobelfabrik in the 1960s. It features a facade of rich Rosewood, and has an inset black writing surface on the top. The drop-front door opens to reveal built-in shelves and receptacles; all composed of the same stunning figural rosewood.
This desk measures 20.5 inches deep, 31.5 inches wide, and 47.2 inches high. There are some slight scratches on the back of the piece, and there is a small chip in veneer on one side. There are some light water blemishes on the top. Overall, this desk remains in very good condition. Please see photos.
