Description
Marcel Wanders designed this hanging pendant lamp as a traditional chandelier wrapped in a unique “cocoon” resin, also found on other Flos lights by the Castiglioni Brothers.
The internal structure includes transparent PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate ) “candles.” A faceted crystal globe is located at the lower center of the piece for a whimsical sparkle effect.
This is one of Flos’s and Wanders’s most sought-after lighting designs. It has become an iconic and uncanny centerpiece that is certain to draw intrigue.
