Description
This is a Soft Edge Curved Dining Table, model 5259, designed by George Nelson for Herman Miller in 1953. This example dates to c. 1954. The piece has a rosewood veneer top, and is supported by black enameled steel legs. This particular silhouette was only produced for a short time between 1953 and 1955, and was produced in the USA.
The table measures 42 inches deep, 78 inches wide, and 29 inches high. It is in very good vintage condition, but remains almost 70 years old. Please expect light signs of wear and use.
