Description

This is an EC175 Desk Chair, originally designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1971 for Herman Miller. This particular example was produced in 1983. This is one of the more unique and later Eames designs, building upon the 1950’s fiberglass innovations, though suiting different functions. The chair features a blue fiberglass shell seat with an upholstered cushion, and sits atop a four star aluminum base with castors.

The chair measures 28 inches deep, 25 inches wide, and 34 inches high. This piece does show wear consistent with age and use, including scuffs and surface blemishes throughout. Overall, the chair is in good vintage condition. Please see photos.
