Description

This is a Womb Lounge Chair, designed by Eero Saarinen for Florence Knoll and Knoll Associates in 1948. This particular example was manufactured by Knoll in the USA in 2023. The piece features a seat that is formed of foam-covered molded fiberglass which is upholstered in what appears to be Knoll Rebel Tourmaline fabric, and it has tubular steel legs with a chrome finish. This is the full-size version, not the medium-size.

The chair measures 36.25 inches deep, 40.25 inches wide, and 36.75 inches high with a seat height of 16.75 inches. This piece does show wear light wear from previous use but overall is in very good condition. Please see photos.
