This is a Modernist Museum Bench or Daybed, dating back to the 1960s. The minimalist design features a black leather tufted top resting on a steel frame, offering a sleek, architectural presence reminiscent of modernist public seating found in galleries or institutions of the period.

The piece measures 73.25 inches long, 31 inches deep, and 17.25 inches high. The leather shows some signs of wear consistent with age and use, including light surface creasing and a few small scuffs.
